Leverkusen. The Bundesliga team of TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen was able to collect kilometers in the running challenge in competition against the other clubs from the women’s 1st Bundesliga
Even if the training and competition in the fistball national leagues has been canceled since November and there is no rating for the indoor season 20/21, the women from Farbenstadt were still active in sports.
Compared to the other clubs in the women’s 1st Bundesliga North and South, the Bayer team took 10th place in the running challenge with a total of 1,504 kilometers.
A special highlight was the relay race on January 31st, during which the baton was of course handed over without contact. The Bayer players were able to collect around 80 kilometers within a few hours.
Then the baton was then virtually handed over to the TV Käfertal from Mannheim, a friendly club from the 1st Bundesliga South.
The Bayer team thus already laid the foundation stone for the condition for the coming field season 2021 and also had a lot of fun – the running challenge was also received very positively via social media and there were many virtual cheers for the women from the color city.
