– It should be possible to turn over a quarter of a billion on rotating equipment from this location, says Ståle Kyllingstad in the IKM group in a comment.
On Tuesday, it was announced that the Ståle Kyllingstad company IKM Hydraulic Services will merge with Roxel Promech. The new company will be called IKM Promech, in which IKM will have an ownership share of 55 percent.
Grows faster together
IKM Hydraulic Services is a supplier of hydraulic systems and mechanical services, while Roxel Promech has specialist expertise in rotating equipment – mainly pumps. Both are located at Sola outside Stavanger, and in the long run they will be co-located there.
– IKM Hydraulic Services’ basic organization and access to IKM as a group will contribute to it being possible to grow significantly faster for the companies than individually, says Kyllingstad.
Synergies
At the same time, synergies are hoped for through collaboration with other IKM companies. IKM owns the subsidiary IKM Elektro, which is also located on Sola.
– There are great synergies between the new IKM Promech and IKM Elektro that we want to exploit. I believe we now have all the prerequisites to build the most complete competence house in Norway on rotating equipment, says division director Øystein Stjern in IKM in a comment.
