The Dominican Republic is within the group of 10 countries in the world outstanding in daily vaccination against COVID-19 for every 100 people.
This is evidenced in the data collected by Our World in Data, until yesterday, Monday, March 8, where the Dominican Republic is above countries such as the United Arab Emirates, China, Canada, Brazil, Russia, India, France, Spain, Italy, among others, in terms of the application of the first dose.
The country, however, is surpassed by Chile, who is in first place; Israel, in the second; United States, third; Hungary, fourth; United Kingdom, fifth; and Serbia, sixth.
Therefore, in the Latin American region, it had already been reported that the Dominican Republic is only behind Chile.
