Cinebar 11 from Teufel has been relaunched – it is probably one of the most popular soundbars among home cinema fans to replace the literally flat acoustics of UHD and HDTVs with brutal cinema sound: The Cinebar 11 from Teufel with its pithy The subwoofer is unquestionably potent. Let me first say that with all the technical innovations of the popular soundbar, one thing has remained the same: the price including the subwoofer is still 399.99 euros. In return, customers receive a soundbar that is just as suitable for TV as it is for music playback and video games, with a full eight digital power amplifiers that use two 20 mm tweeters and six 45 mm mid-range speakers as drivers. Teufel has developed its own technology for virtual surround sound called Dynamore, which is said to make good use of the bandwidth.
Also included is the new wireless subwoofer T 6, which, unlike its predecessors, can not only be placed upright but also lying down – for example, by laying it under a sofa for massive structure-borne noise. Prerequisite: a ground clearance of twelve centimeters should be available. With the rear speakers of the type “Teufel Effekt”, the system can optionally also be expanded to real 4.1 Surround. The soundbar uses various common connections. It is possible to transmit wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX from smartphones, tablets, PCs and notebooks.
Of course there is ARC for simple one-cable connection, HDMI 2.0a with HDCP 2.0 is supported. Thanks to CEC, the soundbar can also be controlled by TV remote control – it also has touch buttons on the housing. Useful: The display is behind a high-quality front grille made of metal and can be dimmed if desired – nice for anyone who is annoyed by crawling lettering under their films.
