PARIS, KOMPAS.TV – In October 2020, the French mainland heated up due to the beheading case of a teacher named Samuel Paty due to showing caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad while teaching about free speech.
In fact, there were new facts that were revealed in this case.
This unnamed 13-year-old female student previously admitted to spreading information that Samuel Paty asked Muslim students to leave the classroom.

However, through his lawyer, the boy admitted he wasn’t even in the class.
“He lied because he felt trapped after classmates asked him to become a spokesman,” said the student’s lawyer, Mbeko Tabula, who was quoted by the BBC from AFP.
As a result of the hoax, the student’s father filed a lawsuit and sparked a hate campaign on social media.
