Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai to collaborate with Apple TV +

Young Pakistani women’s rights activist Malala Yousafzai, who won the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize, today announced that she will team up with Apple TV +.

The 23-year-old intends to work on the development of animated series, comedies, documentaries and drama programs for children.

The agreement between Malala Yousafzai, who graduated from Oxford University in June, and Apple TV + will span several years.

Malala Yousafzai’s story went around the world when she was the victim, in October 2012, of an assassination attempt by the Taliban who tried to ban girls’ education.

She was also the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, for her work to protect children from slavery, extremism and forced labor. She also received Honorary Citizen of Canada status in 2017.
