Extraordinary Congressional Supporters (KLB) Democratic party in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, Muhammad Darmizal, admitted that he did not know the former TNI Commander General Purnawirawan Gatot Nurmantyo.
Darmizal’s statement was conveyed in response Gatot’s statement who claimed to have been visited by parties who pushed for the implementation of the Democrat Party KLB.
He also admitted that he had never met Gatot in nearly 60 years.
“[Saya] does not know Mr. Gatot Nurmantyo. It seems like we haven’t met him in nearly 60 years, “Darmizal told CNNIndonesia.com, Monday (8/3).
Another supporter of the KLB, Yus Sudarso, admitted that he could not provide a response to Gatot’s statement.
Yus admitted that he had to coordinate with his colleagues first.
“Later I will coordinate with other friends,” he said.

Previously, Gatot admitted that he had been visited by parties who pushed for the implementation of the Democrat Party KLB.
A number of people who were not named explained to Gatot that they would hold an Extraordinary General Meeting to depose Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), who is currently serving as the first Chairman of the Democratic Party.
“What we do is replace AHY first. After AHY comes down and then the election, you will definitely be like this, like this,” said Gatot, imitating the person quoted from a video on Instagram TV, his personal account @nurmantyo_gatot, Sunday (7/3).
Gatot did not want to be involved in the movement because he felt that he had been raised by the 6th President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). Gatot is known to have been appointed Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army in 2014 by SBY. He was later appointed as Commander of the TNI during the reign of Joko Widodo.
“I was raised by two presidents, one by Pak Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, one by Pak Jokowi,” said Gatot.
The Democrat Outbreak in Deli Serdang last week ended in a polemic. Democrats are now divided between the AHY leadership and the KLB camp that has decided Moeldoko as the general chairman.
