A drunk driver caused a fatal accident in the gypsy neighborhood in Byala Slatina, BulNews reported.
The kamikaze car from the village of Knezheno collided with the Mercedes of three pedestrians – 2 women and a man. The blow was so strong that the man died on the spot. The women were severely injured and had craniocerebral injuries.
According to Nova TV, the author of the deadly incident had a restraining order to approach his ex-wife. He drank heavily and drove to the city. On the street he found his ex-wife, her friend and another man, who literally crashed his car and crushed them.
A police team and lazy people arrived at the scene. The driver was tested for alcohol use with a druggist, and the result was positive.
Police found that the driver was celebrating March 8 with a friend in the neighborhood, where he drank a solid amount of alcohol before sitting behind the wheel.
Due to the deadly incident, many people gathered and tensions rose among the Roma. They wanted to lynch the driver, but the police kept the situation.
Montana gendarmerie teams have already been alerted and are already traveling to Byala Slatina to assist local police.
