Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have reached out to Nikola Milenkovic’s agents ahead of a possible summer raid on the Fiorentina defender, Calciomercato reported.
You may have heard that Liverpool have had some injuries this season.
But while a number of fitness issues have contributed greatly to a terrible title defense, reinforcements may be required even when the club’s heavy hitters are ready to return.

Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies feel like little more than short-term solutions, while Joel Matip is as fragile as a glass of Poundland wine.
Therefore, Liverpool fans will be delighted to know that, over the past three seasons, Milenkovic has missed just seven Serie A matches, in 24 of Fiorentina’s 26 league matches in 2020/21.
The Serbian international has managed to stay in shape amid doubts about his short-term future at Stadio Artemio Franchi, and that will be music to Jurgen Klopp’s ears.

Milenkovic is reluctant to extend a contract that expires in 2022, and Calciomeracto claims its market value has dropped from £ 35 million to £ 25 million in a matter of months.
Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United have reportedly expressed interest, holding talks with Milenkovic’s entourage.
Furthermore, Fiorentina is almost certain to sell in the next transfer window. Unless, of course, Milenkovic makes a sudden U-turn and decides to stick with one of the perennial of Italian soccer’s perennial results.
“We will try to renew Milenkovic’s contract, and if he does not accept, we will sell him next year,” admitted Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade a few months ago.
