Coronavirus in Mexico as of March 8: 319 new deaths from COVID-19 were registered

This Monday, March 8, they registered 319 deaths of COVID-19 in Mexico. However, in the last 24 hours 190,923 deaths to national statistics.

Jose Luis Alomy, National Director of Epidemiology, reported that there are 43,511 (2%) active infections, which represents people who had symptoms in the previous 14 days.

From week 7 to 8 of 2021 a 16% decrease in estimated cases (sum of confirmed and suspected infections) nationwide, counting 2,324,954 until this monday. Likewise, 1,675,996 people recovered from the disease.
