The Medical College appreciated the decision of the Government to donate 40 thousand doses of the vaccine against Covid-19 to Ecuador and Paraguay. The union highlighted that this donation (which is intended for first-line health personnel) is a consequence of the timely vaccination strategy implemented by the country.
President Sebastián Piñera clarified that this donation does not alter the vaccination process in the country, which will make it possible to reach the entire population at risk in March and target in June. On the other hand, the president confirmed that a new shipment of vaccines has already taken off from China, this time, of 2,180,000 doses of Sinovac.
