Inter Milan grabbed a 1-0 win over Atalanta in continued Italian League. The Nerazzurri are even stronger at the top of the standings.
Inter vs Atalanta took place at the Giuseppe Meazza, Tuesday (9/3/2021) in the morning WIB. The two teams played a goalless draw in the first half.
The Nerazzurri came out on top after scoring one goal in the second half. Inter’s three points came thanks to Milan Skriniar’s goal.
This result is Inter’s seventh successive win in the Italian League. The team made by Antonio Conte are still comfortable at the top of the standings this time with a collection of 62 points.
Atalanta failed to return to the top four. Gian Piero Gasperini’s team must be stuck in fifth with 49 points.
The course of the match
Atalanta immediately tried to suppress Inter at the start of the match. Attacking from the left, Robin Gosens penetrated the Inter penalty box and released a pull bait. However, no Atalanta player could snatch that pass in front of the Nerazzurri goal.

Atalanta tried to press first in the second half. Josip Ilicic then releases a kick from outside the penalty box, but the ball can still be blocked by the opponent.
Inter Milan were able to steal a goal first in the 54th minute. Milan Skriniar managed to tear Atalanta’s goal after taking advantage of the chaos from a corner kick.
Behind one goal, Atalanta tried hard to bang on the Inter defense. Zapata got a good chance in the 67th minute, but his shot from inside the box was slightly off target.
Another Atalanta attempt came in the 75th minute. Luis Muriel’s shot shoots towards Inter’s goal, but Handanovic can secure it.
Mario Pasalic nearly tore Inter’s goal in the 83rd minute. He managed to grab the ball from the hull with a volley, but it was still a little sideways from the goal.
Atalanta tried hard to press Inter until the end of the match. However, until the match was finished, no goals were scored. Inter came out the winner.
