Priyanka Chopra (38, “Quantico”) announced their latest project on Instagram – and that has nothing to do with film or television. The actress is opening an Indian restaurant in New York City called SONA this month. She writes about it on Instagram: “I’m so excited to introduce you to SONA, a new restaurant in NYC where I have poured my love for Indian food. SONA is the embodiment of timeless India and the flavors I grew up with.”
The announcement mail is accompanied by three pictures: one shows the sign of the restaurant, the second and third pictures show Chopra and her business partner Maneesh K. Goyal as well as Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas (28, “Jumanji”) to see. As she describes in the text, the last two pictures show a puja, a “small intimate prayer ceremony” with which the room was inaugurated.
