Artists without respirators at the Czech Lions are handled by the police

The presentation of the annual film awards took place without spectators only with the participation of some of the nominated artists and presenters. All participants were required to undergo PCR tests and had to have respirators during the ceremony.

“It is not up to me to assess whether there has been any illegal activity,” Hamáček said on Monday, adding that the Prague police told him when asked that the matter was “subject to investigation”.

A demonstration of several hundred people took place in Prague on Sunday, during which the police detained several people, among other things, because they refused to wear respiratory protection in the form of a veil or respirator, despite calls. Among the detainees was also a non-attached MP Lubomír Volný.
