The American pastor Stewart-Allen Clark is in bad weather during the day.
During a service at his local Baptist church in the state of Missouri, he advised women on how to stop their husbands from being “distracted” by other women.
In addition to the fact that the sermon itself attracts attention, it does not help that he brought forward none other than former First Lady Melania Trump as the ultimate “trophy wife”.
The service was streamed and shared on Facebook. There, the reactions did not wait. The case is discussed by, among others BBC, Fox News, Forbes, Insider and The Hill.
22 minutes
In the speech, Clark encouraged the women to try to lose weight and to have Melania Trump as a role model, writes among other things Insider.
– I do not think women understand how visual men are. I do not think they have the capacity or ability to understand how visual men are. “I do not think women understand how important it is for a man to have a beautiful woman on his arm,” Clark said, among other things.
He also asked why women “allow themselves to decay” after marriage.
– Ladies, that’s how God created us, That’s how we are. Men will always come to see (on women, journ.anm.) He created us to see. You want them to look at you, said the pastor.
In the 22-minute video, he talks about women’s looks.
– I’m not saying that all women can be the most epic, epic trophy wife ever, like Melania Trump. I’m not saying that at all, most women can not become trophy wives, like her, he said, noting that they might get a participation diploma.
– All I can say is not everyone looks like her. But you do not have to look like a “butch” either.
– False gossip
Temporarily laid off
After the speech was streamed and then shared, the accusations hailed against the pastor where he was accused of being both sexist, degrading and generally abusive.
The video has gone viral, and thus “trends” both Clark and the former first lady on social media, according to Forbes.
The pastor’s church has stated to a local TV station that he has been laid off and must attend professional counseling.
