Bale and Kane Bring The Lillywhites to Win 4-1

Harry Kane and Gareth Bale look charming brings Tottenham Hotspur won 4-1 over Crystal Palace. The two pillars of The Lillywhites managed to pack brace.

Tottenham host Crystal Palace at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Week 27 of the Premier League, Monday (8/3/2021) early morning Western Indonesian Time. The hosts took the lead in the 24th minute through a goal from Gareth Bale.

However, Palace were able to force the first half to end in a 1-1 draw thanks to a goal from Christian Benteke in the 45 + 1 minute. After the break, The Lillywhites secured the victory after scoring three goals.

Bale scored his second goal of this match in the 49th minute. Kane didn’t want to be left behind by packing too brace. He scored two goals in the 52nd and 76th minutes.

The 4-1 victory over Palace, took Tottenham up to sixth with 45 points. They are only two points away from Chelsea in fourth position.

For The Eagles, this result kept them from moving from 13th place. Roy Hudgson’s men collected 34 points.

The course of the match

Tottenham managed to open the scoring in the 24th minute. This goal came from Lucas Moura’s hard work to grab the ball from Luka Milivojevic.

The ball leads to Harry Kane who immediately stabs into the penalty box. He then gave a measured horizontal pass which Gareth Bale was able to cheat into a goal.

Tottenham after that was dominant in the first half. However, they were caught off guard for a moment before halftime.

Palace can steal a goal during the first half injury time. Milivojevic’s measured bait from the left met Christian Benteke’s head in the penalty box.

Benteka’s header slid swiftly into the left corner of the Tottenham goal. Hugo Lloris was silent.

The duel between the two teams from London ended equally strong 1-1 in the first half.

Tottenham immediately kicked off after the break. They were back ahead thanks to the collaboration of Bale and Kane in the 49th minute.

Sergio Reguilon sent in a cross at the far post which Harry Kane was able to meet. He headed the ball towards Bale in front of goal.

Bale followed up with a header to score his second goal of the game. Score changed 2-1 for Tottenham.

After providing two assists for Bale, Kane did not want to be left behind to score a goal. He managed to break into Vicente Guaita’s goal in the 52nd minute.

Kane kicked off the measured first time from outside the penalty box to greet Matt Doherty. The ball lodged into the right corner of the Palace goal.

The visitors almost thins out in the 69th minute. However, Wilfied Zaha’s long-range shot only hit the goalpost.

In the 76th minute, Bale scored his second goal in this match. He could well finish Son Heung-Min’s pass into a goal with a header.

Score 4-1 to win Tottenham to close the match.
