Police Headquarters Freiburg
Investigators at the Freiburg Criminal Police had evidence that illegal gambling was being carried out in a restaurant in the Freiburg district of Haslach, which was followed by intensive investigations.
On yesterday, Saturday, March 6th, 2020, a search was carried out shortly after 7:00 p.m. with support staff from the police headquarters on the basis of a decision issued by the Freiburg District Court.
29 people could be identified. In the restaurant – contrary to the provisions of the CoronaVO BW – the normal restaurant operation with serving and serving of food and drinks took place.
In addition, gaming tables with playing cards and tokens could be found, which were confiscated as evidence.
The further investigations are ongoing.

As part of a preliminary investigation, took place on the evening of
March 6th, 2021 a search operation took place in a restaurant in the Freiburg district of Haslach.
During the measures, a total of 29 people were found who violated the corona ordinance.
A detailed report will follow in consultation with the Freiburg public prosecutor at the beginning of next week.
