Shortly after 3:30 a.m., in the night from Saturday to Sunday, four young people, including three minors, leave a private party in Saint-Georges-de-Montaigu (Montaigu-Vendée). The 18-year-old driver loses control of his car at a place called La Linière, in the same town. He then collided with a tree located on the left of the road.
Firefighters Chavagnes-en-Paillers and of Montaigu intervened, as well as the Samu de La Roche-sur-Yon (Vendée). The victim is then imprisoned in the vehicle. Seriously injured, he was transported to the Nantes University Hospital Center (CHU). The other three occupants of the car are said to be slightly injured, according to initial reports.
The circumstances of the accident are not yet known.
