A passion that begins in the melting pot of Martinique
This passion originated in Martinique. Claude Saint-Prix studied at the Lycée Schoelcher. Many young people of the time attended Colette Frantz’s school and others worked with renowned teachers.
Some talents are emerging and among them Marius Cultier. This genius will not leave him indifferent. Listening attentively to his touch, we find some reminiscences of Marius.
He continued his higher studies in the city of art and history of Montauban. Musical fever seized him and Claude Saint-Prix took musicology lessons at the University of Paris 8.
Jazz, 40 years of love
Jazz united these two creators on stage.
For 40 years, the two lovers have been able to captivate and lead the public, that is to say the artistic complicity that united them.
A few days ago, Claude Saint-Prix and Roger Dowling Carter finalized thanks to digital technology, the composition “Sweet Melody”. The singer has already made a commitment to complete the work with Raymond Conseil and Laurent Valère.
