An outbreak of Ebola in the African country is on the rise as the vaccination campaign has already kicked off.
In Guinea, 18 cases of Ebola virus infection have been recorded, half of those infected have died. Such data were released on Saturday, March 6, on the page of the regional office of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Africa in Twitter.
It is indicated that the authorities identified 523 residents who had contact with the infected, which is 82% of their total.
Meanwhile, the campaign to immunize the population against the disease continues. According to the WHO, 1604 people have been vaccinated so far.
