A tight 1st act!
The visitors returned to the match well by opening the scoring through Correa, the striker finished low on the ground, (14 ′, 0-1). Lazio is still dangerous with a shot from Milinkovic-Savic but Szczesny pushes back well, (20 ′). Once again, the Juventus goalkeeper captures an attempt from Luis Alberto, (22 ′). Just before the break, on a pass from Morata, Rabiot launched a missile with his left foot and allowed Juventus to pick up the score, (39 ′, 1-1).
Morata on fire!
After returning from the locker room, Lazio continues to impose their rhythm. Savic (Lazio) is very close to scoring but his shot ends up on the crossbar, (52 ′). In the 57th minute, Morata followed with a superb left foot strike and gave his team the advantage (57 ′, 2-1). Three minutes later, Morata signed a double by converting a penalty, (60 ′, 3-1). Immobile tries to get his team back on track but his attempt is magnificently taken out by Szczesny, (76 ′).
End Juventus 3-1 Lazio
Juventus did not show their best face but were carried by a burning Morata (2 goals, 1 assist). For its part, Lazio was able to doubt Juventus and could have hoped for better with more efficiency.
Juventus are now 3rd with 52 points (1 point behind Milan) and will face Cagliari (17th). As for them, Lazio remains 7th with 43 points and will play against Crotone (20th).
