IDXChannel – After experiencing multiple setbacks, finally Super Nintendo World of Universal Studios Japan finally going to do the official opening. However, the opening can only be done in 2025 considering that the pandemic is still ongoing around the world.
However, the process of working on Super Nintendo World California is still running, although a recent report indicates a version Orlando unlikely to open until 2025, which is two years later than planned.
So far, Super Nintendo Worlds has been confirmed to arrive at Universal Studios at Japan, Singapore, Orlando, California, and Universal Studios Hollywood, which began construction last August.
InsideTheMagic has mapped its progress. The latest information shows progress on the theme and housing for Bowser’s Castle and Mario Kart adventures. Although construction currently looks like it is going well, Universal Studio has yet to provide an indication of when Super Nintendo World Hollywood might be completed.
This park will be the first park to open in the United States. But given the most recent report announced in the Orlando version, in the Universal Epic Universe park, that means it is likely two years behind schedule.
However, launching from Eurogames, Friday (5/3/2021), the good news is that the development of the Epic Universe has officially been resumed after it was stopped last July due to the ongoing Corona virus pandemic.
In a statement shared by Orlando Informer, Universal added that work will likely take several months before reaching full speed. Therefore, it depends on the project worker who reorganizes the vendor and contractor team.
Universal hasn’t officially announced the opening date for the new Super Nintendo World park after it was revised. In fact, it was originally slated to open in 2023. But the Orlando Sentinel, reported that Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings said Universal now plans to start welcoming visitors in 2025. (TYO)
