Changes in the security measures to limit the spread of Covid-19 are taking place in accordance with the plan of the Ministry of Health, previously approved by the government, according to the so-called “traffic light principle”, the Ministry of Culture (MoC) said.
Speaking about the conditions under which cultural institutions could be opened, the Ministry of Culture noted that in the working group specially established by the Ministry, work is underway on scenarios for the gradual resumption of work in Covid-19 conditions. Work on this issue is also taking place alongside public vaccination. The industry is represented in the discussions by the members of the working group – the director of Valmiera Theater Evita Sniedze Ašeradena and the director of the New Riga Theater Gundega Palma.
