“There is no future of internal combustion locomotives”

With the unveiling of a new electric vehicle, Volvo Motors Sweden announced plans to convert 100% to electric vehicles by 2030.

Also, like Tesla, it plans to sell electric vehicles only online in the future.

Earlier, Ford of the US also announced that it would withdraw internal combustion locomotives from Europe by 2030, and that it would spend 1 trillion won to convert the Cologne factory in Germany into an electric car factory.

General Motors has also declared that it will cease production and sales of gasoline and diesel engine cars by 2035.

In particular, the transition is rapidly progressing, centering on the European market, as governments around the world are strengthening environmental regulations.

Consumer preference for eco-friendly vehicles is also a catalyst.

Hyundai Motor Company’s first dedicated electric vehicle Ioniq 5, which is about to be released, sold out in a day with 3,000 pre-booked units in Europe.

The era of electric vehicles is approaching with the declaration of transformation by automakers who are busy preparing for the future.
