They used a car as a weapon. On the night of Friday, March 5, 2021, four individuals hit a cyclist with their car, at Lille (Nord). The goal of the maneuver: him steal his things, including his cell phone and money. Only one of the respondents could be arrested.
Three individuals managed to escape
The facts occurred in the middle of the night, around 1:40 am, in the Bois Blancs sector in Lille. A Renault Clio car, occupied by four individuals, crashed into a cyclist. A voluntary maneuver intended to make the victim fall from his bike to steal his belongings. The cyclist, a young man of 22, was thus stolen “his cell phone and a small sum in cash”, details a police source.
A police patrol then sets out to intercept the car of the suspects. The vehicle is spotted but the driver refuses to stop. At the end of the operation, only one of the passengers, a 19-year-old youth, could be arrested and placed in police custody for “robbery with violence in a meeting, with weapon by destination”.
As for the other three, they fled and are wanted by the police.
