The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, will visit Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic from March 5 to 10, 2021, at the invitation of his counterparts, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulaziz Kamilov, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ruslan Kazakbaev.
As part of these visits, Minister Çavuşoğlu is expected to meet with President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and President of Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, as well as Prime Minister of Kyrgyz Republic, Ulukbek Maripov, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sardor Umurzakov. The second meeting of the Turkish-Uzbek Joint Strategic Planning Group and the fifth meeting of the Turkish-Kyrgyz Joint Strategic Planning Group will also be held during these visits. Minister Çavuşoğlu will also participate in the official opening of the Turkish Consulate General in Samarkand.
In addition to measures aimed at deepening cooperation between our countries, all aspects of bilateral relations will be discussed and views on both regional and international developments will be exchanged during these meetings.
