Rachel Lindsay calls for the US dome show “The Bachelor” to stop filming until the allegations of racism have been cleared up.

Texas – Rachel Lindsay (35) is a lawyer by training and was one of the candidates for the 21st season of the American format of the dome show “The Bachelor” and is the very first colored Bachelorette of the US version of “The Bachelorette”. The brunette beauty, who was born in Dallas, Texas, previously deleted her account on Instagram because of the racism scandal on “The Bachelor”. The scandal was apparently triggered by the photo of this year’s “The Bachelor” candidate Rachael Kirkconnell (24), on which she was dressed in colonial style at a theme party at which the so-called old South America and thus also the slave plantations were celebrated. Then Chris Harrison (49), the host of the series, resigned from the series after a shit storm and after a controversial interview with Lindsay.

The moderator had protected Kirkconnell in the conversation. Rachel Lindsay has now commented on the racism scandal on “The Bachelor” as part of her podcast “Higher Learning”. On the podcast, the celebrity stated that she thinks the filming of the dome show should just pause until the show is back on track. Rachel Lindsay added that the old problems of the series would otherwise be brought into the new season of the TV format of the broadcaster ABC without a stop in filming. Chris Harrison recently admitted in a Good Morning America interview that he had made a mistake and announced that he was against all forms of racism. In addition, the moderator apologized to Rachel Lindsay. So it remains to be seen whether the shooting of the US version of “The Bachelor” will actually be stopped after the request of the former Bachelorette.

The ex-Bachelorette deleted her Instagram account because of the racism scandal

Rachel Lindsay (35) felt previously forced to delete her account on Instagram because of the racism scandal surrounding the TV format of the US version of “The Bachelor”. The former “The Bachelorette” participant was attacked via her social media platform in relation to Chris Harrison’s (49) resignation as “The Bachelor” presenter and was held responsible for the fall of the TV presenter. We think it’s right that the celebrity beauty takes a break from her Instagram account and doesn’t put up with being exposed to further ignorant comments there.
