In his post, the actor joked about the similarities the cast has to a Marvel movie and thanked the entire team for their hard work.
The action comedy, is directed by Shawn Levy, the story will follow Reynolds as a man who must travel back in time to get help from his 13-year-old self (Scobell). Together they will have to meet their late father, who is the same age as Reynolds at the time, and fix things to save the future.
Jonathan Tropper, who already collaborated with Levy on the 2014 film “Ahí te quedas”, has written the script for the film from a story by T.S. Nowlin . The film has been in a drawer for eight years, as in 2012 it was close to seeing the light with Tom Cruise as the protagonist.
