Will Smith He has excelled in the world of acting and previously in music. However, the actor revealed on the podcast Pod Save America, presented by Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, Dan Pfeiffer Y Tommy Vietor, who could, in the future, run for political office.
The motives behind this desire would be to fight against systematic racism, in addition to “promoting understanding between people, and social harmony.”
“I will certainly do my part, whether I remain artistic or, at some point, enter the political arena,” he added.
Smith also mentioned that recent anti-racism social events in U.S, have awakened their intention to generate awareness and changes in their country.
“Fortunately, ignorance prevails more than blatant evil, which is why I have always been encouraged that the process of education and understanding can alleviate some of the most dangerous and difficult aspects of racism that are sadly embedded in the fibers of our country.” he claimed.
Currently the actor is promoting his new documentary of Netflix, called The Fight for America, where Smith presents a look at the crucial role that the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution plays in the relentless fight for equal rights.
