Consumer prices in Daegu and Gyeongbuk in February increased slightly from the previous month

(Daegu = Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Yong-min = Last month, consumer prices in Daegu and Gyeongbuk rose slightly from the previous month (January).

According to consumer price trends in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, released by the Northeast Regional Statistics Office on the 4th, the consumer price index in Daegu last month was 107.67, up 0.4% from the previous month.

Gyeongbuk was 106.28, up 0.6% from the previous month.

In Daegu, prices for commodities (1.1%), household prices (0.8%), and fresh foods (10.7%) rose, and service prices fell 0.1%.

In Gyeongbuk, prices of goods (1.1%), services (0.1%), life (1%), and fresh food (8.3%) all rose.

An official from the Northeast Statistical Office said, “Like last January, in February, the price of fresh vegetables and fruits has risen somewhat,” he said.
