La Pradera and Dress for Success invite all women to join in and donate their clothes and accessories that are in good condition, to give them a second life and that are the opportunity for other women to get a job
Guatemala. With the purpose of changing a woman’s history, the Galerías La Pradera shopping center joins efforts with Dress for Success to promote the development of women so that they can achieve their economic independence and contribute to society.
Dress for Success is a non-profit organization that arrived in Guatemala in 2018, providing support to women through professional tools that allow them access to sources of employment. This is done through training with a Human Development Diploma, producing their image and preparing them for job interviews, providing them with an appropriate outfit, to enhance their self-esteem and security when applying for a job.
In line with the above, within the framework of International Women’s Day, La Pradera developed its Donate for Success campaign, where it will be a collection center, so that all interested persons can donate clothing items; Accessories such as necklaces, earrings, bracelets, shoes and purses that are in good condition to support Dress for Success continue to change a woman’s story. Each donor will receive a discount stub at the associated stores of the shopping center.

Dress for Success also advises the candidates for the preparation of their resumes. After confirming your place, they give you a capsule wardrobe for 30 days, in order to help maintain an image that enhances success.
The collection center will be available in the plaza on the second level of the shopping center, from March 1 to 31, so that all people can deposit their donations and can give a new opportunity to clothing and accessories that are in good condition.
