The American channels Lifetime in A&E will broadcast a documentary about Janet Jackson next year. The documentary will be broadcast over two evenings and will run for a total of four hours, reports Variety.
The film, which is the title, has been in the works for three years JANET wear. The documentary should be released next year. It has then been forty years since her debut album Janet Jackson popped up.
The makers promise to offer an unprecedented glimpse into the life of the singer. Archival images from her life are also used that have not been published before.
Jackson has been followed in recent years as she processes the death of her father, who passed away in 2018. The death of her brother Michael Jackson will also be extensively discussed in the documentary.
Jackson scored her first number 1 hit in the Netherlands in 1986 with the single What Have You Done For Me Lately. In 1997 she scored her second with Together Again. Also numbers like All For You, That’s The Way Love Goes in Scream became big hits. Jackson released eleven albums, of which Unbreakable from 2015 is the most recent.
JANET should be released early 2022.
