According to the social authority, 234 new corona cases were registered on Wednesday. That is twelve cases less than on Wednesday a week ago. There was an increase of 51 cases compared to Tuesday.
According to the authorities, a total of 52,466 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the beginning of the pandemic. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 47,400 of these can now be regarded as recovered.
Incidence value at 80.8
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days is now 80.8. On Wednesday a week ago, this value was 71.9. 257 corona patients are treated in Hamburg’s hospitals. 78 of them are under intensive care.
Nine more dead
According to the RKI, 1,287 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. That’s nine more than on Tuesday.
