Aliens: Fireteam is a cooperative survival action for up to three players. If you don’t play with your partners, artificial intelligence will take control of the other two. The game takes place 23 years after the events of the original Alien trilogy, and it seems that the fight with aliens, who have acid instead of blood, is far from over.
The plot isn’t particularly original, but it doesn’t matter at all. On the basis of an emergency call, we go to one of the colonies, where, in addition to the army of xenomorphs, ancient alien ruins are to await us and we also discover some of the secrets of the brutal Weyland-Yutani corporation.
The developers attract us to five classes (Gunner, Demolisher, Technician, Doc and Recon), more than thirty weapons, promising over seventy modifications and over twenty types of enemies. The campaign will be divided into four parts and it is expected that we will play it more than once.
The game is released in the summer on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S.
