Coronavirus today: Covid Italy bulletin of 2 March. Contagions and data from the regions

Rome, 2 March 2021 – Also today an appointment with the bulletin newspaper of the Ministry of Health on the progress of the epidemic Coronavirus in Italy (region by region data on new infections, deaths, recovered, hospitalizations and intensive care). The numbers of the last few weeks unfortunately leave little doubt: the Covid variants of the virus – the English one in particular – are spreading very quickly by doing go up the curve of infections. The fact that the colorful map of Italy changes its chromatic shades for the worse: fewer regions in the yellow zone and more and more territories that locally end up in the dark orange zone (here the case of Bologna and Emilia Romagna) is red. And today is the news that a Brescia was isolated for the first time in our country of Nigerian variant.

Meanwhile, today is the day of new Dpcm which will come into force from 6 March to replace that of 16 January. Draghi will sign today (here the latest news in real time) but will not speak: no press conference is in fact prervista. It goes towards a close for the schools (closure of all schools in the red zone, possibility of closing also in yellow and orange with 250 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants). The Dopcm will remain in force until April 6, therefore after Easter.

On the front of the vaccines, it should be emphasized that the Draghi government’s goal is to arrive at 56 million injections between now and June. The new plan calls for the creation of 2,000 vaccination hubs. While abroad Austria download the EU.
