Guadalajara Film Festival opens calls for Industry Programs

The Guadalajara International Film Festival, in its 36th edition (FICG 36) opens its calls for the Industry Programs that will be carried out within the activities of the next edition, to be held from October 01 to 09, 2021.

The calls will be open from February 15 to April 19, 2021, and can be consulted on the FICG 36 website, Industry and on their social networks. Application for DocuLab closes on April 30.

17 Meeting of Co-production / Co-production Meetings Its main objective is to promote direct contact between film projects in development in Ibero-America with professionals from the audiovisual industry, financing funds, international producers, buyers and sellers. 20 projects will be selected to participate in this section.

Guadalajara Construye 15 / Works in progress is a program that seeks to contribute to the completion of Ibero-American fiction feature films in the post-production stage. Seven fiction films in provisional state and in search of financing for their completion will be selected and presented to professionals.

DocuLab; Documentary Laboratory is a training program that aims to contribute to the development of documentary films that are in the first or second cut and require conceptual analytical advice to advance to the completion stages of the projects.

Closure of calls: April 30, 2021

Episode 0: Series in Development 2 is a program consisting of intensive meetings between a selection of up to seven series in development; and film and TV professionals who are in a position to consolidate these projects towards their stage of realization.
