Tiptoi pens can be borrowed from the media library
You can now borrow Tiptoi pens from the media library. They are delivered in a bag with appropriate books.

Krefeld Many children love the books, which come to life thanks to interactive pens and offer a variety of play options. However, purchasing these Tiptoi pens is relatively expensive. The media library therefore now offers the opportunity to borrow pens and books as a package.
Tiptoi books have been available for loan in the media library for years and are in great demand. Interactive reading with the Tiptoi pen from Ravensburger is very popular because it offers an alternative to “normal” reading aloud.

So after a while the users wished to be able to take the right pen with them for four weeks, which the media library had not lent out until then. Now, however, the pens are “ready to use” together with three suitable media in a bag, so that you can read, listen and play directly at home.

Initially, three topics are available for testing purposes: research, music, world travel. Should a greater need emerge after the test phase, the selection of topics for the respective age groups will be gradually expanded. The media library is therefore very happy to receive feedback on handling or topic requests in order to be able to tailor the offer to the wishes of young readers.

Not only are the texts in the book transformed into a listening experience by the pen, there are also additional functions such as noises, further explanations, music, quizzes about the story or search games that promote reading comprehension. In order to load the audio files onto the pen, users need a PC with internet access. The bags can be borrowed free of charge and, as with books, the loan period is 28 days.

Orders and deliveries are made during the lockdown, as is currently the case, via the delivery service.
