After the hustle and bustle of last Friday, following the surprise resignation of Mustapha Ramid from his ministerial functions, here is the time for reconciliation.
Sunday February 28, the Head of Government announced on his Facebook account to have made, with a delegation of the party, a courtesy visit to the Minister of State, in charge of freedoms and relations with the Parliament, at the university hospital Mohammed VI International in Casablanca where Mustapha Ramid underwent surgery.
This visit was undoubtedly a new opportunity for Saâdeddine El Othmani to apologize to his minister responsible for relations with the Parliament who had been excluded in the decision to convene an extraordinary session. This had also prompted Mustapha Ramid to send a letter of resignation, before retracting, according to sources interviewed by Le360, after El Othmani had apologized.
The post of the Head of Government does not make any allusion to this resignation. He is content to wish Ramid a speedy recovery and a rapid return to his “militant functions”.
