Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais separated in a draw this Sunday evening in Ligue 1 (1-1). A shock that will have been electric between the two rival clubs. There were indeed many tensions on the ground. Not enough to fix things for Benoit Millot, the referee of the meeting. The latter has been talked about a lot for his decisions. In the first half, the man with the whistle awarded a penalty to theIF after an unfortunate hand from Lucas Paqueta. A decision that annoyed the Lyon fans. But in the second half, Benoit Millot’s match got even more complicated.
Depay gets confused with Alvaro
In the second act, the match referee did not wish to return to Yuto Nagatomo’s hand fault. After that, Lucas Paquera was sent off after a second yellow card collected after a sole on Dimitri Payet. Olympique Lyonnais therefore had to end the match at ten. Subsequently, other tensions were observed on the lawn of the Stade Vélodrome. One notably opposed Memphis Depay to Alvaro Gonzalez. The two men exchanged a few manly words before getting closer physically. As a reminder, Memphis is one of Neymar’s best friends, with whom Alvaro had already had clashes.

On Twitter, many Lyon fans felt aggrieved. The latter did not hesitate to clash with other Marseille internet users. We could see in particular as comments:
During the Chelsea Rennes match, the penalty in favor of Chelsea was identical! Everything is a matter of interpretation the referee felt that the position of Paqueta’s arms was not natural, although it could have happened.

A small point regulation: Here the ball touches the arm, certainly after a contact with the body of Paqueta but especially because of an unnatural position of the defender. The penalty must be whistled because the arm increases the artificial surface and is found at the level of the shoulder.
