Prof. Keith explained that A2 cow’s milk or in scientific language is called A2 beta-casein, has properties that are easy to digest because it consists of one hundred percent A2 beta-casein, reduces the risk of serious diseases, and is better for increasing body immunity.

Prof Keith describes, initially, all cows are ‘A2 type’. The term ‘A2’ refers to the characteristics of beta-casein in milk.

Beta-casein is an important type of protein found in all mammalian milk.

The existence of a genetic mutation of cattle causes the emergence of producing A1 cows cow’s milk which contains A1 and beta-casein cow’s milk A2 which contains A2 beta-casein. A1 beta-casein is digested differently compared to A2 beta-casein.

“A1 beta-casein releases a fragment called beta-casomorphin-7 (BCM-7).
