The protest against the #ugNOvelle continues. Demonstrations and rallies on 03.03. in Linz, Vienna and Graz.
Graz / Vienna / Linz (OTS) – Despite the changes, the UG Novelle is a planned development in which authoritarian pedagogy is the most central aspect. Prohibition and exclusion are still core elements.
We fundamentally reject any form of exclusion from the education system, especially since people in precarious situations will be most affected by it. In the year 2021 the answer must be a progressive education policy “promoting instead of punishing”.
In the midst of a global crisis that has severely affected Austria, people continue to work with a crowbar on education policy. We oppose this together with “we have enough”, “Support Equality” and many other people and groups. Instead, we advocate a good, open education system for everyone.
In Linz, Graz and Vienna it will therefore be on 03.03. give demonstrations and rallies at 3 p.m. There are also online and decentralized options for taking part in the protest. Further steps and actions are planned. #education burns
