The Emir of Qatar said the sovereignty of Saudi Arabia and the stability of its jurisdiction were important for the security of Qatar and the Gulf Corporation. Qatar told Mohammed bin Salman that it would extend all possible support to ensure the country’s sovereignty, security and stability.

US President Joe Biden has released a report on Khashoggi’s assassination. According to the report, the operation in Istanbul was permitted and Prince Salman’s order was to kill or capture Khashoggi.
Assessing the influence of Mohammed bin Salman, the report states that the assassination in 2018 would not have taken place without his permission.
The Saudis had come out against the report. The Saudis have said the report is incorrect and will never be accepted. Saudi Arabia has denied allegations that Prince Mohammed bin Salman was involved in Khashoggi’s assassination.
Following the release of the report, the UAE and Bahrain came out in support of Saudi Arabia.
In Istanbul, Saudi agents assassinate Jamal Khashoggi, a Washington Post columnist and fierce critic of the Saudi government. The then US President Trump did not allow the release of intelligence related to the assassination. But there have been earlier indications that intelligence will be leaked if Biden comes to power.
Adam Schiff, a senior Democratic leader and chairman of the Intelligence Committee, has called on the US government to release details of Jamal Khashoggi’s assassination. All the leaders in the Congress had come forward with the same demand. Senior leaders of the Democratic Party have written to the newly elected Director of National Intelligence, Auril Hines.
