The vaccinations are going smoothly, but we must not forget that only a few people in nursing homes and corona hospitals have been hit. It was confirmed that a new group infection occurred today (28th) at academy and children’s facilities. Although the number of confirmed patients per day decreased slightly due to the weekend effect, 356 people came out. The hopeful news of the vaccine and spring energy should not relieve tension.

The number of confirmed cases related to this area increased by 9 yesterday to 60 in total.
After a group infection occurred on the 23rd, 35 people were confirmed, and about 10 confirmed cases are pouring out every day.
The health authorities are concerned about the successive group infections at workplaces.

In the last two days, 14 were confirmed by textile manufacturers in Yangju, Gyeonggi-do, and 12 and 13 were confirmed by furniture companies in Gwangju and recycling companies in Pyeongtaek, respectively.
Of the group infections that have occurred in the last two weeks, 19 cases, or about a quarter, have come from workplaces.
Group infections are also spreading at academies and children’s facilities in the metropolitan area.
In the last four days, 48 people were confirmed at nursing homes and daycare centers in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, and a total of 11 people were confirmed in the last two days at a music academy in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province.
