The month of March begins and with it the possibility of enjoying The Grottoes differently. These times are key to take advantage of the best of the destination: more accessible prices and days when the heat will continue to reign. With the plus that the beaches, quieter than during January and February, will be able to fully enjoy the landscape.
This time, as the pandemic hit activity hard and providers were adjusting prices to a demand that at times was low, the values will be even more attractive than in other times.
–
For example, a couple traveling with two children can get a department with all services for $ 2500 per day. That figure, which in February stood at $ 3,000, with the peak season ended, collapsed again, to tempt those who are still evaluating to spend a few days in the city.
The same discounts will be seen in terms of excursions. Even gastronomy, although with a more limited offer, will offer accessible options.
However, beyond the economic, what many long for this month is the tranquility that reigns. This allows you to experience every corner and rediscover the central beaches, which, far from the crowds, show all their beauty and invite you to relax.
–
The watchword, however, remains to venture out and find new landscapes. Something that marked the pulse of the season, to avoid crowding due to the pandemic. But that will still work in these low-public times. Is that the idea allows you to renew your enthusiasm. Especially in the case of the usual Las Grutas, who want to get away from the ‘usual’ places.
In this plan, there are options for all tastes. Within the spa, you can access the beaches located andn direction south, surprising with their rugged beauty. Or those located in the direction of the north access, guarded by gently undulating cliffs.
You can also choose to travel to West San Antonio, the main city, which is 15 km. There, beaches like La Mar Grande or Punta Verde they seduce with their calm.
At San Antonio East Port, located 65 km by route 3, the alternatives continue. There is La Conchilla, which lies on the side of that route, just before entering the fishing village. The whiteness of its coastline, upholstered with radiant shells, continues to generate impact. Other proposals are Punta Villarino, on the southern viewpoint. OPspread partridges, on the north viewpoint, which is popularly known as the “Caribbean of Patagonia”, due to the contrast of the blue sea, which borders a coastline strewn with pearl snails.
Returning to Las Grutas, one of the charms of March is that it returns to magical habitual moments. It happens that the serenity of fate, cwith a smaller frame of people, will allow that, for example, the simplicity of a sunset can be captured with all the senses.
–
In that plan, sharing a drink at sunset, getting up very early (or staying up after a delicious dinner) to appreciate the sunrise on the beach and even moving the exercise routine to the edge of the sea could be great finds.
Not to mention the walks, the ‘bike’ adventures or the long days of fishing, which, for those who love good bites, will be a temptation.
For all this, March remains an unmissable option, which can be used by those who have not yet had a vacation or those who need a break from routine.. The good news is that the heat will continue to tempt, as well as the offers and charm of a destination that is more radiant than ever when the high season declines.
For those who love to discover different corners, the Puerto San Antonio Este, which is 65 km from Las Grutas by route 3, and San Antonio Oeste, the main city, which is located 15 km away, are good options to consider.
–
Within the coastal offer, in Puerto San Antonio Este there are unmissable beaches such as La Conchilla, Punta Villarino and Punta Perdices. In San Antonio Oeste, meanwhile, they stand out La Mar Grande, Los Tamariscos and Punta Verde.
In the case of Las Grutas, the beaches located to the south are a real temptation. The best known is Colored stones, but there are many to discover. Among them, El Buque, Morella, El Sótano and El Cañadón de las ostras.
