Katie Price reboots singing career with festival gig alongside Cheryl E! News UK

Katie Price is giving her singing career another shot and has booked a big festival gig alongside Cheryl.

The former glamor model, 41, will perform this summer at the Mighty Hoopla festival, which also features rapper Eve and singer La Roux.

Might Hoopla, which is held at Brockwell Park in London and which brings together 15,000 people, will be one of the first major festivals to take place in the UK since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

Festival bosses have made the decision to go ahead with the concert “following vaccine rollout reviews and rapid testing” will ensure “Mighty Hoopla as it should be – all singing, all dancing”.

NHS workers have been offered free tickets “to say a sincere thank you for their courageous and incredible efforts during this crisis and throughout the year”.

It’s a huge gig for Katie, who has tried to start a singing career on numerous occasions.

She sang A Whole New World with her first husband Peter Andre.

Then in 2019, she released another single that failed.

She recently told FUBAR Radio, “Obviously I’m laughing at myself on Instagram. And when I say I wanna be on The Masked Singer, I wanna be on The Voice, so everyone takes the mickey off me and says, ‘Oh shut up Kate. Do you really think you can sing?

“I’m like, ‘yes I actually can.’ And they’re like, ‘well, I don’t know what you mean.’

“I have now bought myself a studio for YouTube.

“So I’m going to do my karaoke versions, acoustic versions of the songs I want to do. “

She added, “I’m not giving up. I’ll do it … If you don’t want to hear it, don’t tap and listen! “
