What are the options for collision insurance without deductible?
COLLISION INSURANCE WITHOUT DEDUCTIBLE IS NOT AN INSURANCE IN ITSELF. PURCHASE OF NON-DEDUCTIBLE COLLISION INSURANCE IS OPTIONAL AND IS NOT REQUIRED TO RENT A VEHICLE.
The renter can purchase collision insurance with no optional deductible from the owner at an additional cost. If Renter purchases Collision Damage Waiver, Landlord agrees, subject to the actions listed below that invalidate No Deductible Collision Damage Insurance, to contractually waive Renter’s liability for all, or any part, of the cost of damage to the vehicle or to the parts and accessories, or of the cost of the loss or theft of the vehicle or of the parts and accessories, and other related costs, without regard to fault or negligence, as Collision insurance option with no deductible chosen. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary and unless prohibited by law, COLLISION INSURANCE WITHOUT DEDUCTIBLE WILL NOT APPLY TO LOSS OF KEYS, KEYCHAIN, TRANSPONDERS OR OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES. Collision Damage Waiver Insurance does not apply to damage occurring in Mexico. At most branches, the owner offers the following two (2) levels of protection: * Collision Damage Waiver without Maxi – the owner pays for any loss or damage to the vehicle. * Collision Damage Waiver 3000 – Owner pays first $ 3000 for loss or damage. Tenant will pay any amount over $ 3,000 attributable to loss or damage. Before making the decision to purchase or waive collision damage free insurance, we recommend that you check with your insurance or credit card company if, in the event of vehicle damage or theft of the vehicle, last, you have coverage or protection, and what is the amount of your deductible or out-of-pocket expense.
