Two unknown thieves stole from an elderly Limbach Oberfrohnaerin in her apartment on Wednesday afternoon. As the police announced yesterday, Thursday, they pretended to be criminal police officers and showed the woman who lives in Am Hohen Hain forged ID cards. “In good faith, the elderly woman let them both enter the apartment. Later she discovered that her various jewelry and 2700 euros in cash were missing,” said the officials. “A similar case was reported to the police in Chemnitz in the past few days. Whether there is a connection between the two cases is currently being investigated,” it continues.
