The maximum number of entries was 55,555.55 euros. An Oelsnitzer had offered this remarkable sum for the garage complex. But there was also an offer from a Netzschkauer who had submitted 1,000 euros above the highest bidder up to a maximum of 67,000 euros.
After the opening of all offers, the city administration was surprised by another offer: A representative of the third-placed placed increased his first bid from 51,500 euros to 70,000 euros. Mayor Mike Purfürst (trade association) brought in a lawyer. He confirmed that the offer was received too late and therefore not to be evaluated. Netzschkauer, who wants to found a garage community, was awarded the contract. The city councils agreed.
There are 123 garages in the town, 115 of which are leased. Not all are usable. Some show structural damage. The technical committee had an on-site meeting in early June. Subsequently, the city council decided to sell the area. The valuation report prepared by the expert committee shows a value of 46,000 euros. (pstp)
