FEMA assures that they do not give out food stamps but that they are accepting applications in their Web page for those families who were affected by last week’s winter storm in Texas.

Assistance to those affected by the storm is being accepted in 77 Texas counties, including Harris, Fort Bend and Galveston.

Shipment of supplies
The White House and FEMA sent supplies to Texas to try to alleviate the state’s emergency from the winter storm. Electric generators, blankets and drinking water are some of the resources that were sent by the federal government to help Texans.
