LIVI PRESENTS ITS 2020 REPORT FOR THE BOURGOGNE-FRANCHE-COMTÉ REGION AND ITS DEPARTMENTS
Livi, leading health center, expert in teleconsultation, publishes, at the beginning of 2021, a regional and departmental report of the teleconsultation activity for the year 2020.
FOR THE BOURGOGNE-FRANCHE-COMTÉ REGION, THE MAIN LESSONS LEARNED FROM THIS REPORT ARE THE FOLLOWING:
In total, in the region, 2,150 people consulted Livi in 2020, of which 61.87% were women.
In addition, 69% of patients in the region who consulted on Livi during this year reside in the medical desert. This figure testifies to a real service provided to patients and also indicates that the teleconsultation operated via Livi meets a real need in terms of access to care for populations residing in fragile territories.
In addition, 37.62% of teleconsultations were carried out outside the opening hours of medical practices (times understood in this study to be as follows: 8 am-8pm), which underscores the service provided by teleconsultation in terms of access to care over an extended time slot.
25.56% of patients in the region who teleconsult on Livi declare that they do not have an attending physician (national reminder: 29% of patients using Livi do not have an attending physician).
Regarding the reasons for teleconsultation, it should be noted that 20% of patients consult for general health reasons, immediately after the COVID reason (19%).
In addition, patients from the region have declared themselves satisfied with the service provided; this result reflects the quality of the medical project implemented at Livi.
“THESE FIGURES COME TO CONFIRM THE NEED OF PATIENTS FOR ADDITIONAL SOLUTIONS FOR ACCESS TO CARE, ESPECIALLY IN THIS PERIOD OF TENSION IN CITY MEDICINE AS IN HOSPITAL”, STRESSES MAXIME CAUTERMAN, MEDICAL DIRECTOR OF LIVI.
